Classes: Improv for Stage

Improv for Stage is an eight-week training program focused on developing the core skills needed for scene-based, character-driven improvisation. This class is designed for performers who want to move beyond short-form games and into grounded, compelling long-form work. It's taught by Chris Last of Last Laugh Improv through Actors in Action Conservatory.

Over the course of eight weeks, we focus on three key areas:

• Core improvisational skills, including Scene Sense, Theatricality, Indirect Evocation, and Character Presence.
• Scene-work Modes, covering Vignettes, Stories, and Finding the Game.
• Long-form Formats, like those played regularly at Last Laugh Improv.
