At Last Laugh Improv, our mission is to cultivate a vibrant and welcoming community where creativity and passion for improvisational theater and comedy thrive. We are dedicated to providing high-quality performances that entertain and inspire, while fostering growth and connection among performers and audiences alike. We strive to create an environment that challenges and nurtures improvisers who want to go deeper with the art form. Through daring productions and innovative showcases, we aim to be a cornerstone of the improv scene, nurturing talent and bringing laughter to the heart of Salt Lake City.
Our Vision for Shows
Last Laugh Showcase
Launching in February 2025, the Last Laugh Showcase will become our flagship weekly performance, offering the best in improvisational comedy theater. Featuring a talented ensemble of experienced improvisers from the Salt Lake area, each show will be a unique, laughter-filled experience driven by the creativity and passion of our performers, along with audience suggestions. Join us for a night where no two performances are ever the same, and get ready for a hilarious journey through spontaneous storytelling!
Last Laugh Presents
As Last Laugh Improv grows, we aim to expand our show offerings into more daring productions. Last Laugh Presents is a future series of concept improv shows, directed by talented improv directors from the Salt Lake area, running concurrently with our flagship showcase. Featuring a variety of unique performances, from fully improvised musicals and improvised Shakespearean to Jane Austen-inspired scenes and seasonal themes like an improvised Halloween show, it's an exciting addition planned for our future lineup. Timing and specific shows are still to be determined, so stay tuned for updates!
The Last Laugh Invitational
Looking ahead, The Last Laugh Invitational (working title) is a concept we plan to introduce at Last Laugh Improv to help prepare emerging performers for the stage. This show will offer a platform for students and aspiring improvisers to gain valuable stage experience. While it's not planned for the first year, we're excited to bring this opportunity to life in the future.
